And God saw �ha� i� was good. And �his was �he �hird day. n �he four�h day God said le� �he seas bring for�h swarms of living crea�ures; and birds �ha� fly above �he Ear�h across �he expanse of �he sky. God crea�ed �he gian� sea mons�ers, and �he o�her crea�ures, and winged birds of every kind. And God saw �ha� �his was good, and blessed �hem all and bade �hem be fer�ile and increase upon �he Ear�h. n �he fif�h day God said le� �he Ear�h bring for�h every kind of living crea�ure: ca��le, wild beas�s of every kind, and creeping �hings. And i� was so. And God saw �ha� i� was good. And God said le� us raise up beings who will have dominion over �he lower forms. And i� was so... bu� �his was no� good. For �hese, called Grigori, had no souls and would no� worship God. And God was displeased, and �hese fell from his favor. o God crea�ed again. And God made human in his image, in �he image of God were �hey crea�ed; male and female. God blessed �hem and bade �hem be fer�ile and increase; �o fill �he Ear�h and mas�er i�. And God gave �hem reign over all lower crea�ures �ha� creep upon �he Ear�h. no�her crea�ure �here was, who see�hed wi�h envy. She was Lisse�h. She had been crea�ed �o ma�e wi�h �he firs� human, bu� was no� of �he same flesh. Because of �his rejecion, Lisse�h los� her hear� and became bi��er and jealous. And as wi�h Lisse�h, God seemingly forgo� �he Grigori, and �hey fell under �he sway of �he Evil One. And he began �o scheme wi�h �hem how �o reclaim crea�ion. efore Ear�h was, God crea�ed Angels �o help minis�er �o God's crea�ion. Migh�y were �hese in sreng�h and grace, and near �o God were �hey in power. And �he Angels served God in joy and glory. All �he Angels served God, save one called Lucifer, whose name mean� 'ligh� of God'. And God loved him, bu� Lucifer was jealous of God... ...and jealous of God's crea�ion``of all �he worlds God had made, full of crea�ures who loved and worshipped God. Lucifer desired all �his for himself, and had sough� �o wres� i� from God's grasp. Lucifer sowed �he seeds of discon�en� among his fellow angels, and wi�h his God-given ligh� won many �o his side... ...and so began a war �ha� shook Heaven i�self. And God saw wha� Lucifer had wrough� and was sore displeased. God stopped �he war and banished Lucifer and his minions from Heaven forever. Despi�e his desire and black concei�, Lucifer had no� �he power �o con�es� agains� God, and was cas� ou� of God's ligh� and in�o e�ernal darkness. hough he failed in Heaven, Lucifer came �o Ear�h wi�h his seeds of envy. And �hese seeds bore frui� among �he soul-less Grigori. And Lucifer pi��ed �hese agains� �he Chalkydri, who had remained close �o God. And great bale ren� �he peace of all crea�ion. Humankind was spared �he perils of �his warfare`` by �he power of God's love, and �he pro�ec�ion of God's warrior Arch-Angels. Many soul-less ones and Chalkydri perished and �heir grea� numbers were vas�ly diminished. And God grieved for bo�h sides of �he conflic�. In grief, God bade �he hos�ili�y end, and i� ended. od knew �ha� �he crea�ures had been misled by Lucifer. God forgave �hem �heir par� in �he war, and spared �hem. Humankind was given �o freely roam over �he whole Ear�h. And God �ransformed Eden in�o a deser�, and in �he cen�er of �his, God placed �he Tree of Life �o nu�ure �he balance be�ween good and evil in all �he world. The remaining Grigori and many of �he Chalkydri were bound by God �o remain �here and main�ain �he �ree, un�il such �ime as �hey migh� redeem �hemselves in God's sigh�. Grigori who would one day call himself Ekimus survived and escaped in�o seclusion on Ear�h. Forever se� apar� from �he humans, forever denied a full measure of God's crea�ion. Ekimus was alone and resen�ful... ...as was �he one called Lisse�h. And bi��er was her aspec� forever. The day would come when �hese �wo imperfec� beings would come �ogeher �o breed perfec� �error. And all crea�ion would fear �he mons�ers �he �wo bir�hed in secre� over �he long eons �o follow. Humankind held dominion over �he Ear�h, bu� �hese dark crea�ures held dominion over �he nigh�mare worlds of �he nigh�. And �his was mos� cer�ainly no� good... | |||||||||||||||||||||||
